Chicago Firm, Verano has Purchased Four Daughters Cannabis Dispensary

A cannabis firm, which is based in Chicago recently revealed its plans to purchase Sharon-based Four Daughters Compassionate Care, marking its debut venture into Massachusetts for the multi-state cannabis operator.

Massachusetts regulators needs to approve the said purchase, however, the firm has stated that manufacturing of a production & cultivation facility in Sharon has already started, plus they are also revamping adjoining premise for opening a dispensary.

Furthermore, Verano has also purchased the license for more recreational marijuana facilities in Sharon, local contracts & real estate – which includes 180,000-square-foot adult use cultivation greenhouse & a twenty thousand-square-foot processing facility – in Halifax, real estate & local contracts for an adult use dispensary in Plymouth.

Although the cultivation facilities will function under the Verano brand, clinics will run under the brand name Zen Leaf. Both the facilities of Sharon are predicted to start in the next 6 to 8 months, and will hire around fifty to seventy-five employees.

In a release, Chief Growth Officer of Verano, Sam Dorf stated that they are quite excited to partner with the team of Four Daughters to create solid base of support & host partnerships they obtained within each of communities, thereby enabling rapid construction to assist in making the dream of Four Daughters’ a reality. The alliance continues strategy of Verano to generate a way for wellness & health with organic branded products for cannabis patients, good quality, customers & their areas with the help of purchasing licenses and/0r alliances with operators in extremely controlled, limited license states.

Presently, Verano handles ten facilities in Nevada, Illinois, Florida, and Maryland, with over forty-five licenses in development in Ohio, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, and, Puerto Rico. This purchase will be Verano’s debut into the adult use marijuana industry.

Sam Dorf further added that one of the appealing parts of the Sharon facility was its closeness to Gillette Stadium located in Foxborough that offers disclosure & potential to cater to plenty of devoted New England Patriot fans & concert goers.

Brian & Lynn Striar, who are the co-founders of Four Daughters, and their 4 daughters – Nicole, Stephanie, Robin and Kimberly will stay as active members of the local operational management team for the clinic. Stanley Rosen, who is the co-founder, pharmacist & also former chair of the Sharon Board of Health, will be the clinical director for the brand, Zen Leaf.

In a release, co-founder Brian Striar stated that all the facilities of Verano are controlled locally that will allow them to retain the hometown environment with an accustomed personal touch, which they have primarily visualized in every single facility.
